10 EPISODE DOCUSERIES FOR FOOD NETWORK

We pitched Food Network to develop a docuseries exploring food & music cultures in New York City & Los Angeles. Hosted by chef, DJ, and Broad City-music supervisor Matt FX, we developed & produced this 10-episode series over the course of two months. Mr. FX and Crooked Letter founder Gabriel Gomez went to arts high school together—In The Mix is emblematic of our time-tested talent network & personal relationships providing product.


It premiered on Food Network’s digital channels in 2019.

DEAL OF A LIFETIME

NARRATIVE FILM STARRING DAVID CROSS

We produced & financed Merman-signed director Lev Pakman’s latest film in the Spring of 2022. Navigating a COVID-19 surge, this project was backset a number of times—ultimately, the challenges made the execution of this star-led film that much more rewarding. With a hand in ideation & casting, we take pride in this film’s grassroots success.

IT HAPPENED LIKE THIS: A ROSEHARDT DOCUMENTARY & CONCERT FILM

FEATURE DOCUMENTARY

A project near & dear to our hearts, we self-produced our first feature documentary over the course of three years. What started as a concert film featuring our very own Crooked Letter-managed talent Rosehardt (see page 32) slated to shoot on March 12th 2020, our plans shifted drastically as the pandemic swept the globe. But we kept filming, and ended up creating a layered film about what it means to be an artist, but more importantly a human, in the modern day.

It premiered to a 400 person audience in February 2023 and is currently awaiting the festival circuit.
